Playbook Technical Writing

We offer various levels of support to those who want to create their own
playbook or for existing action officers who need to update their respective playbook.

Keeping playbooks fresh and current

The CE Playbooks Technical Writing team offers various levels of support to those who want to create their own playbook or for existing action officers who need to update their playbooks.

Whether starting from scratch or needing basic formatting support, our technical writing team is present at all stages of the playbook development cycle. We strive to ensure that your specific needs are met, and that your playbook is accurate, published and shared within the CE community upon completion.

Services offered include: scope development, process map and flow chart development, topic research, form and checklist development, immersive environment development, and more.

Archived Playbooks

In order to ensure that Playbooks remain current, they must be reviewed/updated and approved by AOs/owners at a minimal of every 4 years. Playbooks that are not reviewed/updated at a minimal of every 4 years will be archived at the end of the 4th year until reviewed/updated.

Example: If a Playbook was published in 2020, then it needs to reviewed and either confirmed as “no update needed” (resulting in only a cover date change to 2024) OR identified as needing an update, thus starting the updating process internally or with Tech Writing support. Failure to do either will result in the 2020 Playbook being Archived in January of 2025 until a review/update is completed.
